Port Labels
It is unusual for old vintage port to have original labels because the bottles were stored for many years in damp conditions. If not specifically mentioned, pre 1970 ports have our neutral black & white labels for identification (marked P/L in the list). From 1970 all ports, unless otherwise stated, have original labels.

New Corks
Where necessary corks which are showing signs of seepage through old age have been replaced by us. The levels remain as they are and have not been topped up with any other Port or vintage. These are clearly identified and, because of this, the price has been adjusted.

Part of a 21 bottle purchase, all externally identical, lead capsules are stamped "Port. Garret Bros". A random bottle was opened and was delicious. The cork was clearly branded 1917, nothing else. 10 bottles have already been sold without and well received, all with facsimile labels.
